Gadsden police investigate weekend robbery

Gadsden police are investigating the Friday night robbery of a gadsden woman.  The 29 year old victim told police she was robbed at gunpoint around 11:00 pm. Friday night as she was in a vehicle with two acquaintances that were giving her a ride to an address near South 11th Street & Broadway in South Gadsden. When they arrived at the destination the male suspect pulled a handgun and demanded money. The female suspect grabbed $30 in cash from the victim's hand and told her to get out of the vehicle. The victim told police she originally was not concerned about the robbery but has been receiving multiple death threats from the suspects since the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
