Authorities in Boaz say A newborn died Sunday, and the infant's mother admitted she had been using methamphetamine just before the baby was born.  26 year old Cassie Davis, has been charged with chemical endangerment of a child and is being held on a $1 million bond at the Marshall County Sheriff's Office.  Boaz police and fire departments responded Sunday to a home on Dundee Road to a report of an unresponsive child.  It was determined the mother had just given birth to the child before officers and medics arrived.
