Etowah Personell Director Resigns

The Etowah County Commission accepted the resignation Tuesday  of the county’s personnel director. Jennifer Taylor’s resignation comes after her October 7th arrest for identity theft and computer tampering. Taylor is accused of using someone’s personal information to open various accounts. She was place on paid administrative leave immediately after her arrest. She’s served as the personnel director since 2011. The commission is working to fill the vacancy as soon as possible with the help of human resources consultant and former personnel director Mike Naugher.
