JSU cuts budget

Citing declining enrollment numbers, the Jacksonville State University board of trustees this week voted to cut 650 thousand dollars from the university budget  The budget cuts include a cut in employee travel and spending less on maintenance in supplies.The university is also cutting hours for part-time employees and delaying hiring for job vacancies.
