Three newly elected members of the Etowah County Board of
Education were sworn in Monday night at the board’s November meeting at Glencoe
Elementary School.
The oath of office was administered by Circuit Judge Billy Ogletree
to board members Tim Womack, District 1; Scarlett Farley, District 2; and Todd
Hindsman, District 3. All three were re-elected to their positions.
The board members elected Danny Golden as chairman of the
board and Tim Langdale as vice chairman.
Ernie Payne served as chairman last year, and Doug Sherrod
served the previous year.
