
Assistant Calhoun County Coroner Jay Bowden said Canada was
pronounced dead at 11:08 p.m. Friday night at Stringfellow Memorial Hospital.
His body has been sent to the Alabama Department of Forensic
Sciences for an autopsy.
Police said the incident occurred at a house on Abbott
Avenue and that Arnold and Canada knew each other prior
to the incident. Police said Arnold is the only suspect in the case.
