While the Gadsden Veterans Day parade was cancelled from what organisers say was a lack of community participation, a Gadsden Army Veteran Ottie Noble announced plans to walk part of the proposed route for Gadsden's Veterans Day parade, even if he is the only one there. This morning Noble was not alone close to a hundred military veterans and active duty military showed up on the steps of Gadsdens Federal building to march the route taken by military inductees from the federal building to the bus station where they left for military service. The Patriots association in Gadsden has announced the veterans day parade will be held next year in the city.
