Gadsden police aren't saying anything at present, but at
least 10 men were arrested Thursday on soliciting prostitution charges.
The arrests came over a period of several hours, extending
from late morning into the evening. All of the men were booked into the Etowah
County Detention Center on charges of soliciting prostitution, a misdemeanor,
on $1,000 bond.
Ages of the men were 22, 27, 30, two 31-year-olds, 43, 46,
47, 53 and a 60-year-old.
Gadsden police last year conducted two prostitution stings,
arresting 10 men in August and seven in November.
