Gadsden murder trial delayed

Larry Teague

The capital murder trial of a Gadsden man charged in a 2007 slaying has been delayed until October.  Etowah County Deputy District Attorney Marcus Reid said the trial of Larry Teague, which had been scheduled for this week, has been delayed because of newly discovered evidence that has been provided to defense attorneys.
49 year old Teague,  and three teenagers were arrested within days of the Nov. 4, 2007, shooting death of Janice King during a robbery.
Teague, was indicted in 2012 on a charge of capital murder after investigators determined his alleged role in planning and executing the robbery-murder.
