An Oxford man is set to appear in court for a preliminary
hearing Thursday on a charge of second-degree human trafficking.
Ronnell Lamonz Thomas was arrested Aug. 7 during an ongoing
prostitution and methamphetamine investigation by Oxford police.The incident,
which occurred July 8, also resulted in the arrest of a 27-year-old Anniston
woman, who was charged with solicitation. After a hearing in district court, a
grand jury is set to consider her case.
