Alabama State Troopers are investigating a deadly crash in
Talladega County.
Troopers say the three-vehicle crash happened just before 9
p.m. on Saturday, on Alabama 77, nine miles southeast of Talladega. 68 year old Larry Thomas Nesmith, died at the
scene, according to troopers. They said
Nesmith had been parked on the side of the road in a 1993 Nissan pickup when his
vehicle was hit by a 2002 Ford F-150. Authorities said 72 year old Rodger Dale Webber, was driving the Ford truck. Nesmith was thrown from his truck and was
then hit by a 2012 Honda Odyssey. 73 year old Delbert Ernest Smith, was identified as the driver of that vehicle.
No one else was injured.
Authorities have not said if any charges were filed.
