Lincoln police announced Friday that the remains of a body
found near Jackson Shoals last November have been positively identified as
those of Theresa Andrews Benn Dulaney.
The 42-year-old Calhoun County native was reported missing
Oct. 1
9, 2014, after the Geico 500 race at the Talladega Superspeedway.
Lincoln police investigator Amanda Crow said the Alabama
Department of Forensic Sciences confirmed the identity through DNA tests.
Crow said The death is still considered a homicide, although
the manner of death will not be released as the case is still under active
