Police in Northeast Alabama said they have recovered the
remains of a teenager who disappeared three months ago.
15 year old Jason Richards,
was last seen February 8 in a restaurant parking lot in Guntersville.
Police initially believed he was a runaway and had travelled
to either Louisiana or Florida.
Detectives found his body on Monday in a wooded area near
Albertville.
Investigators have spoken with persons of interest, but no
charges have been filed.
Governor Robert Bentley’s office is offering a $5,000 reward
for information that leads to an arrest in the case.
