Authorities say A Fruithurst man facing a murder charge
after allegedly stabbing a Georgia resident Saturday night pleaded guilty five
years ago to threatening to kill two Cleburne County deputies and their
families.
50 year old Marty McMahan,
has been in Cleburne County Jail since Saturday after an altercation at
a Muscadine home on Cleburne County Road 49. Witnesses told deputies that
McMahan had stabbed 31 year old Jonathan Daniel Chandler.
