Garrett murder arrest

Talladega police made an arrest Thursday in the killing of Aldrick Garrett. Garrett is the son of local author and poet, Marshall Pope.

 Police discovered his body in July on Scott Street in Talladega.  Police arrested 19-year-old Rodericious Lee of Talladega Thursday and charged him with murder.

Bond has not been set yet. Police have also not released a motive for the killing.
