Calhoun authorities searching for bear cub

Calhoun County deputies report a search is underway for a black bear cub - spotted near Alexandria High School. Several residents nearby say they've also seen the bear. Video and pictures are posted to the Calhoun County Facebook page. "'Game and Fish' is trying to tranquilize the bear and get it moved to a safer environment. Deputies and Weaver Police are assisting them.

The Calhoun County Sheriff's Office also reports - there was a previous bear siting during the January 2014 Winter storms.
