Mark Wade Wagnon, Malcolm Leundre Ragland, Dalvin Jared Johnson

Gadsden police have arrested four suspects after two men were robbed in on South 13th Street. 18 year old Dalvin Jared Johnson, 20 year old Malcolm Leundre Ragland, and 43 year old Mark Wade Wagnon, all of Gadsden have been charged with first degree robbery. They are being held in the Etowah County Detention Center. Bond has not been set.  A 17-year-old also was arrested.   A 22-year-old man told police he went to a residence there to pick up a friend to take him to work. There were four young men standing around, and one approached his car, reached in and tried to take the keys from the ignition.  When the victim asked what he was doing, the man said, “You know what I’m doing,” and brandished a silver pistol.  The victim was pulled from the car and hit on the left side of the face with the pistol. His pockets were searched and his iPhone 4 was taken, and the suspects took subwoofers and an amplifier from the trunk of his car.  When the victim’s friend came outside to go to work, he saw the robbery in progress.  The second victim was punched in the face and stomach. His wallet and phone were taken at gunpoint. The suspects ran down the street, where a white Pontiac Bonneville picked them up and headed north on South 13th Street.  A car matching the description given to police was stopped on East Broad Street. Some of the stolen property was recovered and the four were taken into custody.
