Georgia man arrested after taking trailer from Hokes Bluff business



Neighbors looking out for neighbor in Hokes Bluff results in the arrest of a man accused of trying to steal a truck. According to Hokes Bluff Police Chief Mitchell Hill, Patrick Beam of Loganville attempted to hook a stolen truck from Duluth, Georgia up to a trailer in front of a business on Main Street.  Authorities say the neighboring business saw the utility trailer being taken away at 11:00PM last Thursday and called 911.  The Hokes Bluff Police Department put out an alert for authorities to be on the look-out, and that’s when the Hokes Bluff Police Department and the Glencoe Police located Hill at a Huddle House and took him into custody.  The truck had been reported stolen for 3 days.  Hill was charged with Receiving Stolen Property 1st Degree, Theft of Property 1st Degree, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Giving False Information.
