Oxford police are searching for a suspect in a lunchtime bank robbery on Friday.
According to Oxford Police Cpt. L.G. Owens, a black male entered the Woodforest National Bank inside the Wal-Mart on Plaza Lane just before noon and presented a note to a teller demanding money. Owens said the car had an Alabama tag not registered to the vehicle.
Surveillance images show the suspect wearing a white hat, dark jeans and jacket and sunglasses. Authorities said he also had on shoes with neon-yellow laces.
No one was injured in the incident. An investigation remains ongoing.
