Etowah Republicans to meet on District Attorney recommendation

The full executive committee of the Etowah County Republican Party will meet at 6 p.m. this evening in Room 210 of the Joe Ford Building at Gadsden State Community College to discuss making a recommendation to Gov. Robert Bentley for the appointment of a new district attorney.  Etowah County District Attorney Jimmie Harp died Wednesday after a long battle with cancer.  Anyone interested in serving as district attorney is asked to send a resume and contact information to jclay4aub1963@aol.com, as soon as possible.  The potential appointee must be a resident of Etowah County.
