An inmate escaped from the Talladega County Jail at 5:36
Sunday morning.
Deputies identified the inmate as 41-year-old Anthony Dwayne
Davis. He is described as a white male, 5’9”, 200 pounds with brown eyes and
hair.
His last known address was 114 31st Street North in Pell City.
Authorities say Davis was on inmate worker status and
escaped the facility by crawling under a gate while on garage detail.
Davis was incarcerated on a third-degree burglary charge. He
is not believed to be armed, but deputies advise caution.
