Gadsden woman held by ex boyfriend in Ohatchee

A Gadsden woman told police she and her children were unlawfully imprisoned for seven days at her ex-boyfriend’s house in Ohatchee.  The 23-year-old woman told police her 26-year-old ex-boyfriend came to her residence on White Avenue about 1 p.m. July 12 and told her if she didn’t go with him, he would hurt her family and her children.  She was scared for her safety and that of her children and family, so she gathered her 8-month-old baby and her 3-year-old child and went with him to his residence on Nunnally Lake Road in Ohatchee. The man would not allow her to call anyone.  On Sunday, he left for a while and the woman called her mother to tell her where she was and what happened. Ohatchee police and Calhoun County Sheriff’s deputies came to the house to pick her and her children up.
