Authorities have identified a man killed in a head-on crash
on Alabama Highway 179 outside the Boaz City limits, near the Marshall-Etowah
County line.
Marshall County Coronoer Marlon Killon said that 27 year old
Nicholas Gene Huff, of the Boaz area, was dead on the scene of the accident.
Boaz firefighters responded to the two-vehicle collision,
investigated by the Alabama State Troopers.
A spokesman for the fire department said they were called
out at 9:14 a.m. Saturday morning to the crash in the 700 block of Alabama
Highway 179.
