Bond reduced for manslaughter suspect

Adrian Renteria

Bond has been reduced for a Marshall County man charged with four counts of manslaughter and three counts of assault.  22 year old Adrian Renteria,  was in court Monday seeking the reduction in bond on charges stemming from a fiery two-vehicle cras  Marshall County Deputy District Attorney Chris Abel said defense attorneys for Renteria argued that he had no family in the area and could not make the $1 million bond imposed to keep him jail.  Abel said the prosecution argued he was a flight risk for the very same reason  he had no family ties to the community.  Abel said he has a girlfriend in the area, and she seems to be the only link  and quite possibly his only source to make bond. The bond was reduced to $400,000. Abel said Renteria remains for now in the Marshall County Detention Center.  Renteria was driving a car involved in a fiery collision with a truck in 2013 on U.S. Highway 431 in Guntersville. Four people in the truck were killed
h in Guntersville on July 14, 2013.
