A 26 year old Gadsden
man was arrested and charged in connection with a recent burglary in Etowah
County, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
William Ladell Calhoun, is charged with one felony count of
third-degree burglary and one felony count of second-degree theft of property.
Calhoun allegedly broke into a residence on Posey Road and
stole several pieces of jewelry and collectible coins valued at more than
$2,000. The items were not recovered.
Calhoun was booked at the Etowah County Detention Center and
later released on $5,000 bond.
