Justin Kitchens

A 32 year old Anniston man is facing felony charges after he allegedly threw a rock at a police car with an officer inside.  Police say Justin Kitchens, threw the rock at the hood of the police cruiser at around 12:30 Sunday morning. The officer driving the car was not injured.  The officer was responding to another call when he saw Kitchens throw a rock into the glass windows of the Social Security office on Quintard Avenue. A police report estimates the damage to be around $300. The report also stated Kitchens was intoxicated at the time.  Kitchens may also be charged with throwing rocks into the glass windows and doors of another nearby business, Haynie Accounting and Tax Service on Leighton Avenue, causing about $1,500 in damages.
Kitchens is being held on a 15 thousand dollar bond.
