Rainbow City woman arrested in Marshall County

Melissa Kaye Williams

Marshall County deputies arrested a Rainbow City woman Sunday on a charge of receiving stolen property, while serving a warrant Sunday.
Deputies went to a residence on Pleasant Hill Road in Guntersville to serve an arrest warrant and noticed a blue 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier in the driveway. The car had damage to the steering column and ignition, and a check of the vehicle identification number revealed it had been stolen from Calhoun County. Deputies and sheriff’s investigators arrested 29 year old Melissa Kaye Williams, and charged her with first-degree receiving stolen property. She was taken to the Marshall County jail.
