Georgia burglary suspect arrrested



Cherokee county sheriff Jeff Shaver reports that  A Birmingham man wanted for several pharmacy burglaries in Floyd County, Ga., was arrested in Cedar Bluff Monday night after a chase.  30 year old David Dewayne Brown, has been  charged with possession of a controlled substance and attempting to elude a police officer.  Deputy Jeremy Stepps spotted a vehicle matching the description of Brown’s about 3:24 a.m. Monday morning on Alabama Highway 9 near Cedar Bluff. As Stepps tried to stop the vehicle, two passengers jumped out and ran. The driver, Brown, was arrested, but authorities are still looking for the two passengers.  Brown was transported to the Cherokee County Detention Facility, where he remains on a hold for Floyd County
