Soldiers to hold march ending at Talladega Superspeedway

Army National Guard members will perform a seven-mile foot march at Talladega Superspeedway this Thursday, February 20. Soldiers attending the Accelerated 57-day Officer Candidate School (OCS) are gearing up to once again go for the finish line at the Superspeedway. The training is conducted by the Alabama Military Academy/200th Regiment, located at the Ft. McClellan Army National Guard Training Center.

Soldiers will attempt a seven-mile foot march under full pack. It will start at Salem Baptist Church in Eastaboga at 1PM, and end at the track. The seven-mile march is a requirement the soldiers must fulfill before graduating from OCS.
