Fuller named to Etowah County Commission

Commissioner Lewis Fuller

Lewis Fuller has been appointed to fill the District 2 vacancy on the Etowah County Commission.

Gov. Robert Bentley made the appointment, effective immediately. Fuller was sworn in Monday.

The appointment fills the vacancy created by the death of Kenney Tidmore in February.

Two years remain on Tidmore’s term.

The Etowah County Republican Executive Committee met March 9 and offered Fuller’s name for consideration.

Fuller was owner and president of Fuller Medical Co. from 1974 until 2013.

Fuller is a longtime Republican and has served on the local and the state Republican Executive Committees. He served on the Gadsden City Council from 1986 to 1990.
