Two arrestedi n Whorton Bend Thefts



Two men have been arrested and charged in connection with several thefts in the Wilson Circle area of Whorton Bend, according to a news release from Etowah County Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
25 year old Emanuel Jaycory Jacarr Thomas, of Rainbow City, and 23 year old Arthur Jerome Thomas, of Gadsden, are each charged with two counts of unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle and one count of second-degree theft of property, both felonies. Each also is charged with a misdemeanor count of third-degree theft of property.
The pair allegedly broke into and stole property from vehicles parked at several residences Tuesday on Wilson Circle.
An investigation is ongoing concerning vehicle break-ins and thefts in the same area during the week of March 1st. It is unknown at this time if the incidents are connected.
Both men are in the Etowah County Detention Center on $8,500 bond apiece.
