Man arrested in Wednesday night gadsden shooting

Gadsden police say One man is fighting for his life while another is in police custody after a shooting Wednesday night on Pierce Avenue.

Antonius Hackman was arrested at the scene of the shooting, by Gadsden police. Investigators anticipate obtaining a warrant against Hackman for attempted murder.

The man who was shot was airlifted to UAB Hospital, according to reports. No information about his condition was available.
