ASWA Football poll week 9

No area teams rose or fell in the ninth set of high school football rankings released by the Alabama Sports Writers Association  Tuesday night.  The Gadsden City Titans remained the fourth-ranked team in Class 7A after winning the inaugural Region 4 title Friday by defeating Hazel Green. Glencoe remained at No. 3 in 3A after wrapping up the Region 6 crown by defeating Weaver.  Fyffe remained 2A's top team after defeating West End.  Saks remained in the number 2 spot in class 4a with Jacksonville at number 8 followed by Cleburne county at number 9.  In Class 3a Glencoe holds the number 3 spot with Piedmont ranked at number 8.  In Class 1a  Ragland holds the number 4 spot with Donoho at number 5.
