Week 8 High School Football Poll

After defeating Class 7A, Region 4 rival James Clemens, Gadsden City rose to the number 4 spot in the eighth Alabama Sports Writers Association poll this week.

Guntersville holds the number 2 spot in class 5 A.  In Class 4 A  Saks holds the number 2 spot with Oneonta at number 5,  Jacksonville at number 8, and Cleburne County in the number 9 spot.  In Class 3A  Glencoe stood pat as the third-ranked team  while Piedmont moved up two spots to No. 8 i after defeating Walter Wellborn last week.

Fyffe is remained the top-ranked team in 2A.  With Ranbure in the nmber 5 spot.

In class 1A Ragland is ranked number 4 followed by Donoho in the number 5 spot.
