Payne man was charged Tuesday in connection with a murder-for-hire plot.
41 year old Joshua Kilgro, is charged with criminal solicitation for murder after investigators uncovered his alleged plans to have a person killed. . Kilgro is accused of contracting another party to carry out the murder.

According to Dekalb County Sheriff Jimmy Harris, the
person Kilgro was allegedly trying to have killed has been under
"protective measures" since county investigators first learned of the
plot. The FBI has been assisting the sheriff's office with the investigation.
Harris said.
"There have been several hours of undercover work involved with this case
and they are hopeful they have everyone involved identified.
Kilgro is being held in the county detention center on several other charges, including his newest charge, which carries a $250,000 bond.
An investigation remains ongoing.
