A 21-year-old Anniston man who was shot Friday has died, and
two people have been charged with murder as a result.
Anniston Police Capt. Allen George said Johntavious Brown,
who was shot in the head, died Thursday morning at UAB Hospital, where he had
been on life support. He was shot around West 15th Street and Stephens Avenue
about 6 p.m. March 27
On Monday, police arrested 18 year old Dominiquic Isaiah
Curry, and charged him with attempted
murder. Today, those charges were upgraded to murder. He is being held on a
$250,000 bond.
21 year old Breonte
Nicole Young, of Anniston, had also been
arrested for attempted murder and bonded out. She was arrested on murder charges
Thursday afternoon and is being held for the same bond amount.
