Altoona man killed in horseriding accident

An Altoona man was killed Sunday afternoon in a horse-riding accident.  According to Deputy Etowah county coroner Michael   Head, 54 year old Hoyt Garrison Cline, was riding a horse at his Shady Grove Road residence Sunday afternoon. when the horse got spooked and fell on and crushed him. He also was dragged by the horse.  Cline was transported to Marshall County Medical Center, where the coroner pronounced him dead.
