Etowah authorities investigating childs death

Etowah county Authorities are investigating the death of a child found inside a car Friday.  Officials are releasing few details about the death. Etowah County sheriff’s spokeswoman Natalie Barton said the child died Friday at a Birmingham hospital, where the child was taken after it was found in a car outside a home near Gadsden.  Barton said the death “appears to be a tragic accident” and no charges are expected, but authorities still are investigating.
