Anniston police charged a 30 year old Anniston woman with
assaulting another woman with a razor.
Police said the charges arose out of a fight between two women on Aug. 28 on Rocky Hollow
Road. A 28-year-old woman told police
she had an argument with 30-year-old Keya Denise Watson earlier in the day day,
and that she later confronted Watson to resolve the dispute. The victim told police she threatened to beat
Watson up and the two started fighting in the street. During the fight, Watson allegedly used a
razor blade and cut the victim on her calf, neck and chest. Police said the
cuts were minor and the woman did not require medical treatment. Watson has been
charged with felony second-degree assault, and has been freed on a ten thousand
dollar bond.
