70 year old Anniston man charged with Incest

A 70 year old Anniston man has been released from the Calhoun County Jail on a $75,000 bond after being charged with multiple charges of sexual abuse of his daughter.  The man is charged felony charges of incest, second-degree rape, sexual misconduct and second-degree sodomy. He was indicted by a Calhoun County grand jury on all the charges March 17 and was arrested Friday at a coin laundry in Anniston.  According to the grand jury’s indictment, the victim was unable to consent to the abuse because of a mental defect. The abuse is alleged to have taken place on or about Oct. 27, 2013.  The victim is in her forties.
