A 23 year old Weaver man has been charged with engaging in
sexual contact with a 5-year-old girl.
The suspect was arrested by Weaver police Monday evening and is charged
with felony charges of first-degree sexual abuse of a child younger than 12 and
first-degree sodomy. A warrant for the
man’s arrest alleges that the abuse took place on or about Monday. Bond for the
suspect’s release is set at $100,000 cash, and he is scheduled to appear in court
April 14, according to the press release.
