Gadsden police investigating saturday morning stabbing as a homocide

Gadsden police are investigating a homicide after a man was found stabbed to death Saturday morning.  Officers were called to a home on Hartford Street just before 8 a.m. after a neighbor spotted a man laying on the front porch of the residence. Upon arriving, authorities found 52-year-old Gary Stokes dead from an apparent stab wound.  It is unknown at this time when Stokes was killed and no arrests have been made.
