Albertville company expanding

More jobs are comming to Albertville as Quality Foods announced Friday the consolidation of its Southern Quality Meats operations in Pontotoc, Miss., into its state-of-the art facility in Albertville.  Company officials said they will begin to fill positions with qualified employees at the Albertville facility where vacancies exist, and are working with Mississippi state and local officials to explore available training resources and other transition assistance.  Southern Quality Meats has been in operation since 1962.  Albertville Quality Foods has provided goods to food service, retail and national accounts since 1988. It has more than 1,000 employees and supplies products to 20 of the top 100 restaurant chains in the U.S..
