The Talladega County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the
public’s help finding a missing 51-year-old woman last seen on Tuesday. Angela Ownings Whitworth, of Sylacauga, left
her home around noon on April 8 driving a red 1991 Ford Aerostar van with
license plate number NG21691. Talladega County Sher
iff’s Office spokesman Sgt.
Josh Tubbs says Whitworth told her family she was going to B.B. Comer High
School to pick up transcripts. However, she never made to the high school. She
was last seen at Rick’s General Store in the Fayetteville community. Anyone
with information pertaining to the whereabouts of Whitworth should call the
sheriff’s office at (256) 245-5121.
