The Albertville City Council on Monday unanimously approved
moving forward with an economic development.
The agreement with Albertville Investment Partners calls for no less
than a 90,000-square-foot shopping center, with the city responsible for up to
$5 million of the $25 million cost. The center is expected to be 125,000 square
feet, and will be about a block north of the intersection of U.S. Highway 431
and Alabama Highway 75, between Carlisle Street and Highland Avenue.Wednesday, April 9, 2014
