Police investigating theft of cash from home

Anniston police are investigating the reported theft of more than $35,000 from an Anniston home.  The victim, who is in his 80s, told Anniston police Friday that $35,680 in cash was stolen from his home on Glenwood Terrace some time between March 4 and Friday. The police report does not state how the theft may have occurred.
