Authorities investigate Locust Fork Homocide

The Blount County Sheriff's Department is investigating a homicide after one person was found dead in a home on Tawbush Road.
Deputies say a 34-year-old man was found dead inside of a bedroom in the home, suffering from a single gunshot wound.
deputies are not releasing the name of the victim pending family notifications.
They did say that the victim does not appear to live at the home.
Investigators say there were two calls made to authorities from the home on Wednesday. Captain Pat Thomas said the first call was about a domestic situation.
Then, around 3 p.m., a second call was made to report a shooting.
Deputies say there were three to four people at the home, one of those being the victim's significant other. Authorities have been told conflicting stories about how the woman and the victim are involved.
All of those people have been questioned, including a juvenile related to the woman romantically involved with the victim.
Captain Thomas said "It could possibly be self-defense. We've got to put all the pieces together and look at it and see what we've got. But right now it is just too early to say," ..
The juvenile has obtained a lawyer but no arrests have been made.
