Two women charged with chemical endangerment in Etowah County

Two Etowah County women were arrested last weekend on felony charges of chemical endangerment of a child.  24 year old Amy Renea Hall, of Rainbow City, is charged with one count of chemical endangerment of exposing a child to an environment in which controlled substances are ingested, produced or distributed. She's also accused of second-degree theft by deception. Hall admitted using Xanax and Oxycontin during her pregnancy.  21 year old Dylan Leann Entrekin, of Gadsden, is also charged with one count of chemical endangerment of exposing a child to an environment in which controlled substances are ingested, produced or distributed, as well as one count of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. She admitted using meth on a daily basis.  Both women are being held without bond in the Etowah County Detention Center.
