Two men charged with drug charges during stabbing investigation

Dalvin Jared Johnson             Rafael Antonio Robinson

Two men taken into custody by Gadsden police after a stabbing Saturday night at a Tuscaloosa Avenue nightspot have been charged with drug possession.  After police had responded to the stabbing of a 26-year-old Albertville woman Saturday night and left the scene, they received a call that a man at the scene was bragging he’d recorded video of the incident on his phone. Officers were returning to the bar when they received another call that the man had left in a dark-colored Tahoe. They saw a vehicle matching the description and stopped it.  Officers detected a strong odor of marijuana from the vehicle, and subsequently found 15 small bags of marijuana, packaged for resale, in the vehicle.
28 year old Rafael Antonio Robinson,  and 18 year old Dalvin Jared Johnson,  were charged with first-degree possession of marijuana.
Johnson’s cellphone was taken into evidence in connection with the stabbing investigation, according to police reports.
