Gold City's Tim Riley suffers mild stroke while on tour

Tim Riley of Gadsden, legendary Hall of Fame bass vocalist of Gold City Quartet, suffered a mild stroke while on tour Saturday, according to a news release.
The release said Riley began experiencing some abnormal symptoms while on tour and was taken to the hospital.
A test confirmed he had a mild stroke. However, there is no paralysis, and Riley is alert and able to communicate.
Riley is the founding member of Gold City, an award-winning Southern Gospel male quartet from Gadsden.
The group is a multiple winner of Singing News Fan awards, Dove Awards and has numerous No. 1 songs.
